Study visit Wien Energie – Biomass power plant

8 March 2017 – BOKU arranged a short visit to Wien Energie – Biomass power plant in Simmering, where the participants had the chance to see the highly effective co-generation technology of wood as a fuel, supplying around 41,000 households in Vienna with electricity and 17,000 with district heating since 2006.
