Study visit of Bioenergie Grabner KG in Schachen, Austria

9 March 2017: Study visit to Grabner KG, where a Frohling CHP unit was operational. The participants had the opportunity to learn how the Froling Company managed to provide both heat and power from wood. The newly-developed Froling CHP 50 fixed bed gasifier is available with an electrical capacity of 49 / 51 kW or thermal capacity of 107 kW, and has an overall efficiency rating of 85%.

The Froling CHP 50 comes as a pre-commissioned container solution which is ready for installation and use (wood gasification including container safety features, exhaust gas line and automatic gas flare). Clearly-defined interfaces and the intelligent system design make the CHP 50 a unique “plug and play” solution.
